American Colonial tablespoons 5 in a Hanoverian pattern, 4 marked IC for John Champlin of New London Connecticut, one with a purposely rubbed but still readable mark of John Hallam, also of New London, c.1775 Each of these desirable tablespoons has a 5 Feathered Crown engraved on the back of the handle and the 5 weigh a total of 287 grams or 9.2 ozs. Troy, with each being 8 3/8" long. Engraved as described above, the soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing. The excellent original condition and clear detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
